Why didn't anyone tell me to put butter on my steak?!


This weekend we had dinner at Bistrot du Terroir.

I had a faux-filet with toasted almonds and fresh herbed butter.

I generally stay away from buttered red meat. But apparently I was so wrong.

It might have been the most tender flavorful steak I have ever had.

My reccomendation: Hey kids! Start buttering your meat!
